孩子的童稚言語稍縱即失。先生隨手記下了Isaac的一些趣味話語，讀起來令人莞爾，也讓人對孩子的小腦袋充滿興趣。
Quote1: I’m going to school at 8:79.
I guess I’m going to school at 8:79. That’s 9:19 you know.(我想我要八點七十九分去上學。你知道嗎，那是九點十九分。)
That was from my secret math box in my brain.(我大腦裡的祕密數學盒子告訴我的。)
You know what 12 x 12 is? 144 （你知道十二乘以十二等於多少嗎？一百四十四）
Dad: very good. What’s 11 x 11? (爸爸：很棒。那十一乘以十一呢。)
Isaac: Hmm. What’s 99 + 22? 121? Now that’s in my box. (嗯..九十九加二十二等於多少？一百二十一。現在這也在我的盒子裡了。)
Quote 2: Two Chinese in the class.
I’m the only Chinese in my class. Soon there will be two though. (我是班上唯一的中國人。不過很快會有兩個歐。)
Dad: Really? (爸爸：真的？)
Yeah, I’m teaching Timothy Chinese!(嗯，我正在教Timothy中文。)
Mom: Timothy can say “pingou” right? (媽媽：Ｔimothy會說“蘋果“了對嗎？)
Yeah. He already a little bit Chinese!(對啊，他已經有一點點中國人了。)

I’ve always wanted to catch a cloud. I could stand on Taipei 101 with a net and get one! (我一直想捉住一片雲。我可以拿枝網子站在台北101捉住一朵。)
Quote 4: If you don’t like the rain…
If you don’t like the rain you should move to a different planet without rain. (如果你不喜歡下雨【Isaac不喜歡當雨把雪都融了】，那你可以搬到一個沒有雨的星球去。)
Quote 5: If you were a child right now.
(to his daddy) If you were a child right now (at Huckleberry) we would be friends. （對爸爸說：如果你現在是個小孩，我們會是在學校的好朋友。）（Isaac的父親小時候也上同一間學校。）
Quote 6: Much joy is gone for me when I’m alone.
In the Pool: You should come in. Much joy is gone for me when I’m alone. （在泳池裡對爸爸說：你應該加入，只有我自己一個人，很多快樂都不見了。）
